AW3D is NTT DATA’s worldwide 3D mapping service that offers benefits to industries and public administrations, from flood prevention to wind turbines deployment, urban planning or infrastructure construction.
Its great technology and broad range of applications was actually its weak spot in defining a clear and relevant positioning that would work in the long term.
We conducted a remote brand discovery process. We involved AW3D’s teams of business, engineering and commercial backgrounds as well as clients and partners in Japan and elsewhere in several workshops and interviews to understand their business, competitive advantages and weaknesses in order to build a positioning and speech for the brand.
In combination with a thorough industry analysis, the process ended in a whole new brand platform, purpose and corporate claim. A new storytelling based on an idea that would still be relevant no matter how the technology and the service evolve: The Earth is talking. We listen.
